This position serves as the face of our brand within retail environments, focusing on engaging shoppers through dynamic food and non-food demonstrations. The Associate is responsible for creating memorable in-store experiences by proactively intercepting consumers, sharing product knowledge, and showcasing items in a professional and inviting manner. The role exists to drive product awareness and sales by bridging the gap between the brand and the customer through direct interaction and sample preparation.
Your day begins with setting up the event table and preparing the workspace to ensure a clean, sterile, and safe environment for food preparation. You will utilize various small appliances, such as microwaves, fryers, and coffee makers, to prepare and serve samples while maintaining strict safety and hygiene standards. Throughout the shift, you will actively engage with shoppers, communicating the unique features and benefits of the products with enthusiasm. The role requires a high degree of adaptability, as you will also assist with client visits, complete necessary audits, and manage administrative tasks like expense reporting and online documentation immediately following events.
This is a part-time role, typically not exceeding 25 hours per week. Please note that the company retains the discretion to adjust the schedule based on the evolving needs of the business or specific client requirements.
Candidates must be proficient in navigating personal computers and mobile devices to access internal systems and complete daily online requirements. A local food handler's permit may be required depending on the specific location. While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, equivalent combinations of education and experience are considered. Bilingual skills are a plus and may be required based on business necessity.
