About the Role
This is a 3rd Shift Supervisor position within a family-oriented company. The role is designed to lead, coach, and train a team while ensuring the production area runs efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for optimizing employee engagement through positive leadership and motivating the team to achieve peak performance.
Safety is of the utmost importance in this environment. As a supervisor, you will constantly promote safety throughout the work area and with your team, ensuring strict compliance with company policies and established food safety programs. You will also handle proper scheduling to maintain production flow and manage all other relevant duties associated with supervising a shift.
Work Environment
This position involves working in a dynamic production setting. You may be exposed to noise levels exceeding 85 decibels, CO2, and moving production lines. The environment can be damp, wet, and cold, and you will work around live and/or raw animal odors. While the role requires occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs, the company provides all required personal protection equipment to ensure your safety.

Requirements
- verified2+ years leadership and/or supervisory experience
- verifiedBachelor degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Business Management, or related field preferred
- verifiedProficient technology, computer, mathematical and analytical skills
- verifiedGeneral knowledge of plant operations, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs and HACCP
