About Plastic Molding Technology
Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high-precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. Our primary manufacturing processes include injection molding and thermoforming. We operate approximately 100 injection molding presses across two primary locations in El Paso, TX, and Centennial, CO. Additionally, our facility in Longmont, CO, provides in-house repair and fabrication of tools and dies.

The Role
As a Process Technician, you will be the backbone of our production floor, responsible for molding machine setup, processing, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with QA Inspectors to maintain strict part quality standards and assist production staff with part assembly and packaging as needed.
Your day will involve creating, documenting, and maintaining injection molding processes, as well as performing mold teardown, assembly, cleaning, and maintenance. You will also set up, monitor, and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment, including sprue pickers, robots, thermolators, material loaders, conveyors, valve gates, and hot tip controllers. Effective verbal and written communication with production staff, quality, warehouse, engineering, and management is essential to ensure seamless operations.
At times, you will be relied upon to assist in assigning and delegating tasks or fill in as a backup for shift leads.
Shift Availability
We operate three shifts to meet production demands:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Candidates must be willing to work overtime and weekends periodically as needed.
