About the Role

At NEMC North East Mix Center, the Process Engineer/Line Leader serves as a vital component of the line triad, bridging technical manufacturing expertise with leadership development. This role is designed for individuals eager to onboard to IWS, master technical manufacturing skills, and leverage digital analytics to drive operational excellence.

You will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. Beyond technical execution, you will own daily direction setting and run-to-target activities, supporting the continuous improvement cycle for the line. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop general leadership skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality assurance, and maintenance to support new product introductions and solve complex operational challenges.

  • check_circleMonitor process performance using statistical process control and implement corrective actions for deviations
  • check_circleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • check_circleLead root cause analysis for process failures and implement preventive measures
  • check_circleEnsure all processes comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems
  • check_circleConduct process analysis to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for improved operational efficiency
  • check_circlePrepare detailed technical reports, standard operating procedures, and training materials

Requirements

  • verifiedBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • verified3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
