As a PRN Registered Nurse in Cardiac Rehabilitation, you will raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way. This role is designed for those dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, offering a unique opportunity to work with a diverse group of inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with Exercise Physiologists, Physicians, and Allied Health Technicians to provide safe and effective care. Your day will involve performing comprehensive nursing assessments, planning and evaluating patient care plans to optimize outcomes, and providing direct nursing care while supervising non-licensed staff. Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as a vital educator, offering emotional support and patient/family teaching tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstance.

Dysrhythmia recognition, pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular/pulmonary assessment, basic knowledge of exercise physiology and clinical exercise physiology. Cardiopulmonary assessment; computer skills; educational planning and teaching skills; RN should have a holistic view of patient education; experience and skills with older adults. ACSM certification at the Exercise Specialist level, Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist or ANA Cardiac Rehabilitation certification. A minimum of 1-year experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation.
