With over three decades of experience, DOCS Health is a trusted industry leader dedicated to setting a new standard of care delivery. Our team of clinicians and logistics professionals strives to do the right thing for our partners and their members every time. We operate through fixed clinics, mobile treatment centers, telemedicine, and portable deployment models to serve as a bridge for better health.
We are seeking Physician Assistants to partner with us as independent contractors providing services to Military Service Members. Under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP), you will provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements necessary to maintain a deployable military force for the U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard, U.S. Navy Reserve, U.S. Marine Forces Reserve, U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Air National Guard, and U.S. Air Force Reserve.
This role primarily operates on weekends, with occasional weekdays as needed, based in the State of Kentucky. You will support physical health assessments by reviewing health histories, service member medical records, and questionnaires. Your day will involve interviewing military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns, identifying immediate issues including behavioral health, and documenting interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record using a proprietary system. This position requires adaptability to fast-paced environments with large volumes of service members seen daily, the ability to work extended hours, and travel to various locations, including remote military installations.
If you are made a conditional offer of employment, you will be required to undergo a background check (including a criminal record check) and drug screening. We utilize E-Verify in our hiring process.
DOCS Health is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunity. All employment decisions, policies, and practices are in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws. We will not engage in or tolerate unlawful discrimination or harassment on account of sex (including pregnancy), age, race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender nonconformity, status as a transgender individual, gender identity, genetic information, marital status, family responsibility, armed services, or any other status protected by law.
