Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide primary and family evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- check_circlePerform routine examinations and diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses
- check_circleOrder and administer immunizations and injections while providing patient vaccine counseling
- check_circleEncourage patient participation in healthcare through screenings and chronic condition management
- check_circleConduct health counseling on lifestyle choices, pregnancy prevention, and STI prevention
- check_circleManage patient appointments and handle administrative duties such as inventory and payment collection
- check_circleCoordinate with healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive plans of care
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- verifiedActive Family Nurse practitioner license in good standing
- verifiedMinimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
- verifiedMaster's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program
- verifiedCurrent National Board Certification
- verifiedState of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
- verifiedComplete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedAbility to be proficient in speaking and writing in additional languages (e.g., Spanish)
- verifiedPass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires
Nice to Have
Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice. EPIC experience.
