Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Principal Engineer Systems or Sr Principal Engineer Systems based out of Huntsville, Alabama, to support the IBCS Poland Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS). This is a revolutionary, network-enabled command-and-control system developed by Northrop Grumman that Poland has deployed to unify its air and missile defense sensors and shooters.
The IBCS Poland system delivers a single integrated air picture with unprecedented accuracy and broadens surveillance and protection areas. By implementing this system, the US and other nations are transforming their integrated missile defense capabilities in a consistent manner. In this role, you will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and analyses for cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness across the total system product life cycle. You will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Technical experience with IAMD: C2 with understanding of weapons, sensors, distributed computing and these systems' impact on a command-and-control system's architecture, requirements, and interfaces for communications between these systems. Systems Engineering Experience in an Agile environment. Experience with Jira. IBCS experience. Link-16 Experience. Familiarity with weapon systems and sensors such as: PATRIOT, Sentinel, G/ATOR, etc.
