This Reliability Engineer/Specialist serves as a critical bridge between engineering judgment and operational execution. You will drive Vistra's reliability improvement projects, ensuring alignment with established company procedures such as the Corrective Action Program (CAP) and Work Process Control (WPC). Your work directly supports the Loss Prevention and Hazard Management program, integrating industry-leading insights to optimize fleet performance.
In this role, you will not only execute short-term and long-term budget planning but also lead complex technical initiatives. You will participate in industry user groups to bring external best practices into the organization, develop Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) for key assets, and lead root cause analyses. The position requires a dynamic professional who can facilitate adherence to safety programs, administer reliability key performance indicators, and effectively communicate complex technical concepts across all levels of the organization.
