GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) is driving the future of nuclear power with the BWRX-300 project. Our team is dedicated to execution excellence, combining fabrication and installation work planning with rigorous adherence to ASME codes and design assurance. We foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge capture, and technical mentorship to deliver safe, high-quality nuclear solutions.
This position serves as a pivotal leader for the BWRX-300 project, bridging the gap between design, procurement, fabrication, and installation. You will lead and mentor a matrixed team, providing technical direction across diverse disciplines including mechanical component design, equipment design, and licensing support. Your day-to-day involves orchestrating integrated solutions, managing technical risks, and ensuring all deliverables meet on-spec, on-budget, and on-schedule commitments.
Beyond technical execution, you will champion nuclear safety culture and drive compliance with regulations, guides, and industry standards. This role is essential for stewarding tools, skills development, and best practices while providing oversight to suppliers and partners. You will act as a proactive problem solver, identifying emergent issues and leading their resolution to ensure the project's success from proposal through commissioning.
This is a new position expected to remain open until May 31, 2026. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada, as applicable. For U.S. roles, final offers are contingent upon the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. Canadian candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada and will undergo a background investigation (note: drug screening is not required for Canadian-based roles).
We encourage applications from all qualified candidates. Strong consideration will be given to Indigenous persons in Canada. The interview process will assess technical competency, leadership capabilities, and cultural fit within our matrixed environment.
