The Electronics Subsystems Products (ESP) Department in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to support the Electrical Products design community. As the affordability, manufacturability, and producibility expert for all Effector Programs, you will bridge the gap between design and manufacturing. Your work will span digital, analog, and RF design projects, guiding them from initial bill-of-material selection through Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), and subsystem assembly. Throughout the product lifecycle, you will follow our Integrated Product Development System to ensure designs are affordable, producible, and highly reliable while meeting program delivery and milestone needs.

Active Secret DoD security clearance. Knowledge and understanding of the PCB manufacturing and tooling process. Experience in PCB manufacturing and/or circuit card assembly. Experience understanding IPC and MIL specifications and design guides. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Detailed Circuit Card Assembly process knowledge and the ability to drive the component placement, component selection and material selection. Experience with alignment and collaboration between various disciplines within the Raytheon design community to achieve organizational and programmatic objectives.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Electrical or related discipline required.
