As a leader in this space, you will integrate multiple groups to deliver complex technical projects that achieve client satisfaction within budget and schedule requirements. You will provide mentorship to junior and intermediate staff on specialized nuclear technical design and the engineering design process, while reviewing and approving technical deliverables. The role also involves leading business development efforts, managing proposal processes for RFPs and other formats, and expanding Hatch's services for safety analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedEngineering degree from a recognized university
- verifiedMinimum 10 years progressive experience in nuclear power industry (thermal hydraulics, neutronics)
- verifiedExperience with light water reactors (PWRs, BWRs) and advanced reactor designs
- verifiedFamiliarity with nuclear reactor licensing (NRC, DOE, NEA)
- verifiedExperience with simulation software (GOTHIC, Flownex, STAR CCM+, Ansys CFD, TRACE, SNAP, RELAP5)
- verifiedExperience with Verification, Validation, and Uncertainty Quantification methods
- verifiedU.S. Person status (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible for 10 CFR 810
Nice to Have
Familiarity with specialized structural analysis and neutronics.
