The Avionics team is responsible for the electrical systems and hardware of Astrolab's electric rover vehicles and ground support equipment. We work collaboratively across teams to deliver exceptionally capable, reliable electronics that support our missions.
The Principal Mixed Signal Electrical Engineer will lead the development and testing of avionics hardware for Astrolab rovers. This role is critical in driving the transition from concept to flight, ensuring our electronics can withstand the rigors of space environments. You will own mixed signal PCBA development from a clean sheet through qualification, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements, architectures, and concepts of operations. As a leader, you will guide design reviews, clearly communicating tradeoffs and design intent to interdisciplinary audiences while supporting manufacturing, integration, and flight operations.
