The Enterprise Payments (EP) organization serves as the backbone of the Capital One ecosystem, managing all payment rails including debit, ACH, checks, and wires. This team is dedicated to evolving these critical infrastructure components through Operations, Strategy, and Governance. The Principal Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting these teams, acting as a strategic partner to business leaders who are driving the future of payments.
As the lead financial analyst for Enterprise Payments, you will bridge the gap between day-to-day financial management and long-term strategic planning. Your mission is to shepherd business cases forward, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic guidance that directly impacts financial outcomes. You will navigate a dynamic environment that balances the routine management of fixed and variable expenses with the agility required to support growth initiatives.
In this role, you will build strong relationships with an engaging customer group, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. You will be expected to analyze industry trends, benchmark against competitors, and work closely with business leads to drive operational efficiencies. Success in this position requires a blend of analytical rigor and the ability to influence stakeholders through clear communication and problem-solving.
