As a Principal Engineer in Software Engineering, you will be at the forefront of developing, coordinating, and conducting complex tests and debugging for control and diagnostic systems containing logical and mathematical solutions. This role involves conducting multidisciplinary research and collaborating with project teams to plan, design, and utilize electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software, ensuring smooth operations in software engineering activities.
You will design and implement build procedures to support hardware and software product development. Additionally, you will analyze system capabilities to determine end-user needs, resolving problems related to program intent, output requirements, and input data acquisition. Your expertise will drive recommendations for changes in software production components to continuously improve engineering activities.
This position is based in Melbourne, FL. Employees in onsite roles work on-site, as production and maintenance employees are essential to the development of our products. As part of our commitment to a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid, or remote.
