This position serves as a Principal Engineer and Networking System Architect, acting as the primary architect for Celestica's networking product space. The role is designed to define the architecture of network products and systems, lead new technology research, and study market trends and customer interfaces. While the position is primarily hardware-focused, it requires deep collaboration with software/firmware, mechanical, thermal, layout, signal integrity (SI), and test teams to ensure cohesive system design.
You will lead a multi-disciplined design team, managing a small supporting group and driving goals within a broader collaborative environment. The role involves extensive engagement through the Engineering Validation Test (EVT) phase to ensure overall design quality metrics are met. As a key technical interface between Celestica and our customers, you will handle technical escalations, lead RFQ technical responses, and provide support to business development teams to win new business. You will also represent the company at industry groups, standards committees, and tradeshows, preparing and presenting technical proposals to OEM and hyperscale customers.
