At Northrop Grumman, our employees have incredible opportunities to work on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives around the world today, and for generations to come. Our pioneering and inventive spirit has enabled us to be at the forefront of many technological advancements in our nation's history—from the first flight across the Atlantic Ocean to stealth bombers, to landing on the moon. We look for people who have bold new ideas, courage, and a pioneering spirit to join forces to invent the future, and have fun along the way.

Our culture thrives on intellectual curiosity, cognitive diversity, and bringing your whole self to work. We have an insatiable drive to do what others think is impossible. Our employees are not only part of history; they're making history.

About the Role

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector invites you to bring your pioneering spirit to our collaborative teams. As a Launch Vehicles Electrical I&T Engineer – Level 3 located in Huntsville, AL, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.

In this role, you will support all phases of electrical I&T engineering objectives from inception through completion. You will be responsible for executing electrical testing at the system level for flight hardware, interfacing daily with space launch vehicle hardware, and supporting production floor operations. You will lead tasks of various complexity and scope relating to system-level testing of launch vehicle subsystems, facilitating the creation of planning and test plans to complete analysis and tests on circuits, components, and functional systems.

You will interpret assembly and schematic drawings to design, author, and conduct system and integrated vehicle tests. Your day will involve analyzing test results to identify discrepancies or recommend launch readiness, and facilitating the execution of troubleshooting anomalies to develop solutions and implement corrective actions. You will maintain close coordination with the engineering manager on electrical engineering activities and milestones, participate in daily escalation and tiered meeting structures, and support the transition to digital work instructions.
