Raytheon's Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems (LSEGS) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. We are accountable for program execution, including cost, schedule, and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Our multi-disciplined teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a work-life balance, providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities for our Land and Naval-based electrical products.
You will lead electrical development for DVT integration, qualification, and Transition to Production (TTP) activities. This role is designed to ensure technical excellence by providing guidance, mentorship, and training to the team. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to address design, testing, and production challenges, ensuring that system integration, verification, and qualification testing meet all requirements. A key part of your day will involve communicating results and risks to leadership and customers, while mentoring junior engineers to maintain a productive team environment.
This position is based in Tucson, AZ, and is an onsite role. Employees in onsite roles work primarily on-site, as they are essential to the development of our products. The role requires a 1st shift schedule with less than 25% travel annually. Relocation eligibility is available for this position.

MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Equivalent. Production process knowledge of CCA, EO, RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystems including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test and supplier/sub-tier supplier support. Effective organization and emotional intelligence. Systems thinking and strong problem solving in alignment with the OCE. Technical support experience of test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, printed circuit board fabrication, circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications. Experience with subsystems integration and test, post test flight analysis, problem investigation, Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementing Engineering Change Notices. Experience with Software/Firmware languages; Python, C, Basis, Java, VHDL, Verilog. Leadership of technical teams including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination, preparation of detailed technical team reports, and proposal support. Certification for Basis of Estimate generation. Certification for Earned Value Management.
