Raytheon's Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems (LSEGS) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule, and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle, our multi-disciplined teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a work-life balance.
This position serves as a key leader within the LSEGS department, driving electrical development for DVT integration, qualification, and Transition to Production (TTP) activities. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to ensure task execution and technical excellence, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address design, testing, and production challenges. The role involves performing system integration, verification, and data analysis to ensure requirements are met, while communicating results and risks to leadership, customers, and stakeholders. As an onsite role in Tucson, AZ, you will work primarily on-site to support the development of essential products, with travel required less than 25% annually.

MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Equivalent. Production process knowledge of CCA, EO, RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystems including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test and supplier/sub-tier supplier support. Effective organization and emotional intelligence. Systems thinking and strong problem solving in alignment with the OCE. Technical support experience of test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, printed circuit board fabrication, circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications. Experience with subsystems integration and test, post test flight analysis, problem investigation, Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementing Engineering Change Notices. Experience with Software/Firmware languages; Python, C, Basis, Java, VHDL, Verilog. Leadership of technical teams including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination, preparation of detailed technical team reports, and proposal support. Certification for Basis of Estimate generation. Certification for Earned Value Management.
