The Avionics Test Engineering organization is a global engineering group responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of manufacturing test solutions. We support the $5B Avionics strategic business unit as well as external customers, including armed services and airlines both domestically and internationally. As a key member of this team, you will primarily support internal customers such as the Factory, ensuring the success of aerospace product testing across various locations around the globe.
This multi-faceted position is designed for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will not be limited to only hardware or software engineering; knowledge of both is essential. You will develop strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills while utilizing hardware and software development and debug capabilities on multi-rack test stations.
Your day-to-day work involves developing product tests for a variety of aerospace products, supporting automated test software development, and verifying procedures that drive software changes. You will work closely with engineers and leaders across mechanical and systems disciplines to ensure electrical designs align with project approaches. The role requires independent judgment to make decisions under general supervision while maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating professionalism in interactions with all levels of the organization.
