Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead and mentor data engineering tech leads across multiple build teams
- check_circleDesign and implement reusable data frameworks and assets for shared use
- check_circleManage production monitoring, troubleshooting, and defect resolution
- check_circleExpand expertise into AI, ML, and Lakebase capabilities within the Databricks platform
- check_circleLead CI/CD processes and design reusable data tests for future releases
- check_circleDrive Spark performance optimization and lead platform cost optimization initiatives
- check_circleEstablish and enforce design, engineering, and coding standards including code reviews
- check_circleCollaborate with solution architects and partners to define best practices
Requirements
- verified3–5 years of hands-on Databricks experience
- verifiedProven experience in a Tech Lead role
- verifiedStrong communication skills
- verifiedAbility to engage proactively with business leaders
- verifiedSolid grounding in general analytics, data warehousing, and modern data engineering practices
- verifiedExperience working in Agile frameworks
- verifiedAbility to navigate ambiguity
- verifiedAzure and Fabric cloud experience (preferred)
- verifiedInsurance industry business process and data knowledge (preferred)
- verifiedMedical data experience (preferred)
- verifiedFamiliarity with data governance and data quality needs (preferred)
- verifiedNot eligible for employment visa sponsorship
