About the Role
Maximus is currently seeking a Principal Analyst - Senior Pricer seeking a Principal Analyst - Senior Pricer. This role is critical to our Federal proposal success, focusing on delivering and overseeing the pricing aspects of Federal proposal submissions in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs). The successful candidate will report to the Senior Director of Federal Pricing and work closely with the Proposal Response Team.
About the Team
This is a remote position. The role requires close collaboration with the Proposal Response Team, sales, business development, and capture management. The Principal Analyst serves as an integral part of the capture and proposal team, providing guidance and leadership to members of the proposal and capture teams.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform competitive cost analysis and price to win estimates for strategic proposal pricing strategies
- check_circleCoordinate collection of competitive proposal data from internal and external sources
- check_circleInterface with sales and business development on competitive positioning
- check_circleValidate pricing inputs from various divisions and compile consolidated price
- check_circlePerform cost analysis and estimates consistent with FAR and CAS
- check_circleIdentify financial risks and run what-if analyses for mitigation strategies
- check_circleLead pricing strategy discussions and present to executive team
- check_circleAssemble inputs for Federal Price/Business Volume submissions
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Finance, Economics, or related field
- verified10+ years Federal Pricing experience
- verified2-5 years Federal DOD Pricing experience
- verifiedAdvanced knowledge of cost estimating principles and methods
- verifiedStrong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- verifiedKnowledge of Federal procurement regulations (FAR, CAS)
- verifiedStatistical forecasting and competitive behavior projection skills
