Our team is seeking a visionary AI leader who has already proven themselves at the world's most demanding technology companies and is ready for a harder, more meaningful challenge. As Principal AI Agent Engineer within Siemens Energy's AI Factory, you will architect enterprise-scale multi-agent systems that coordinate across the full Gas Services value chain—operating in environments where mistakes have real physical consequences and success reshapes how an entire industry works.
You'll lead a small, elite team with the autonomy to define technical direction and the mandate to ship at global enterprise scale. Roughly one-sixth of the world's electricity is generated using Siemens Energy technologies. This role offers a rare opportunity to transform a 150-year-old industrial leader from the inside, defining how AI agents will power the future workplace and the future of energy itself.

Requirements
- verified6-9 years of production AI/ML experience
- verified3+ years designing and shipping multi-agent or complex LLM-based systems at scale
- verifiedProven track record at a top-tier technology company (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, Google, Meta, Oracle, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft)
- verifiedExperience with Python, TypeScript, and Go
- verifiedHands-on LLM fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA) and custom orchestration
- verifiedExperience with LangGraph and AutoGen
- verifiedU.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum
Nice to Have
Strong communicator with the ability to clearly explain emergent agent behaviors, coordination trade-offs, and system design decisions to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership. Comfortable operating across time zones, enabling strong day-to-day collaboration with European partners (UTC-2 to UTC+2 overlap strongly preferred).
