This position serves as a strategic leader for projects ranging from initiation through closeout, operating within the parameters of cost, quality, schedule, and objectives. The role is designed for complex initiatives requiring the integration of multiple functional organizations. You will provide leadership for project team members and the overall project management process, ensuring the detailed scope, quality, performance, schedule, and budget of assigned projects align with Constellation Management Model procedures.
In this capacity, you will direct project teams, integrate all resources, and manage contract administration, including proper project closeout and post-project critiques. The role demands effective communication with NGG, site, and corporate management, as well as the development and recommendation of contracted services and materials. A key component of this position is fostering continuous improvement by coaching and mentoring other program managers and cross-functional support personnel.
Constellation has invested more than $7.1 billion in capital across its nuclear fleet over the past ten years to support continued safe, reliable operations and long-term license extensions. Approximately $3.3 billion of that total has been invested in Illinois facilities. Looking ahead, the company is planning multi-billion-dollar investments between 2025 and 2030 focused on the continued operation, licensing, and performance of the Illinois nuclear fleet. These investments are distinct from major growth projects and are centered on sustaining the existing fleet at world-class standards. These efforts support high-skilled jobs, local tax bases, grid reliability, and long-term affordability while avoiding the cost overruns and risks often borne by ratepayers under monopoly utility buildouts.
