Constellation is the largest private-sector power producer in the world and the nation's largest producer of clean and reliable energy. Our purpose is lighting the way to a brilliant tomorrow for all. As the leader in clean energy production for more than a decade, we are cultivating a workplace where employees can grow, thrive, and contribute.
Now integrated with Calpine, our portfolio includes 55 gigawatts of capacity from nuclear, natural gas, geothermal, hydro, wind, and solar facilities, with the generating capacity to power the equivalent of 27 million homes. Our culture is powered by passion and purpose; together, we are creating healthier communities and a cleaner planet, with our people serving as the driving force behind our success.
Over the past ten years, Constellation has invested more than $7.1 billion in capital across its nuclear fleet to support continued safe, reliable operations and long-term license extensions. Approximately $3.3 billion of that total has been invested in Illinois facilities. Looking ahead, Constellation is planning multi-billion-dollar investments between 2025 and 2030 focused on the continued operation, licensing, and performance of the Illinois nuclear fleet. These investments are distinct from major growth projects and are centered on sustaining the existing fleet at world-class standards.
These strategic investments support high-skilled jobs, local tax bases, grid reliability, and long-term affordability while avoiding the cost overruns and risks often borne by ratepayers under monopoly utility buildouts.
This position serves as a pivotal leader for projects ranging from initiation through closeout, operating within the parameters of cost, quality, schedule, and objectives. The role is designed for projects requiring the integration of multiple functional organizations. You will provide leadership for project team members and the Project Management process, ensuring the detailed scope, quality, performance, schedule, and budget of assigned projects align with Constellation Management Model procedures.
In this role, you will direct project teams, integrate all resources, and ensure proper contract administration, including project closeout and post-project critiques. You will act as a coach and mentor to other program managers and cross-functional support personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, you will facilitate stakeholder review and buy-in for deliverables while providing clear communication to NGG and site or corporate management.
At Constellation, you can build a fulfilling career with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact. By doing our best work and meeting new challenges, we can accomplish great things. We offer an extensive selection of benefits and rewards to help employees thrive professionally and personally, including competitive compensation, a bonus program, 401(k) with company match, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
Join us in meeting the country's energy needs today and tomorrow.
