Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full-time outpatient Primary Care Physician to join our established and growing practice in Prescott, AZ. Located just 90 minutes from downtown Phoenix, our team serves a diverse patient population of adults (18+) with a focus on geriatric care. This is a panel position designed for providers dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive environment.
Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, you will provide comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting. Your day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and treating disorders, performing patient exams, ordering diagnostic testing, and developing ongoing treatment and disease-management plans. You will also prescribe medication, coordinate referrals, conduct early-detection screenings, and maintain accurate patient records.\n The role offers a balanced workflow with a volume of 20-24 patients per day across 4 or 5 days per week. You will have 4 hours of dedicated administrative time weekly to manage charting and planning. Clinical procedures such as suturing, cyst removal, wound care, EKGs, and cryogenic dermatology will vary based on your experience level.
While the position is primarily outpatient, it includes an on-call component up to 4 times per month. This involves weekend 24-hour shifts and weekday early morning coverage (5-8 AM), with no shift call required.
