About the Role
This position serves as a 2nd Shift Supervisor, leading a team within a family-oriented poultry production environment. The role exists to ensure the production area runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of safety and food quality. As a leader, you will be responsible for motivating the team, optimizing performance, and fostering a culture of professional development through ongoing coaching.
Day in the Life
Your day involves actively promoting safety throughout the work area and ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety programs, OSHA guidelines, and GMPs. You will manage scheduling to keep production on track while engaging with employees to drive positive leadership outcomes. The role requires working in a dynamic environment that includes exposure to damp, wet, and cold conditions, as well as live and raw animal odors.
