As a Prep Cook, you will be the foundation of our kitchen operations, responsible for preparing a diverse array of food products including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, stocks, and breads. Working closely with the Kitchen Manager, you will ensure that every item is prepared according to the Daily Prep List, utilizing a wide range of kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.
Your day involves more than just chopping and cooking; you will be the guardian of our quality standards. You will portion food items precisely according to standard recipe specifications and maintain a clean, sanitary work environment across all stations, from tables and shelves to heavy-duty cooking equipment. By adhering to our standard portion sizes and cooking methods, you help deliver a consistent dining experience for our guests.
We value clear communication and teamwork. As a Prep Cook, you are expected to attend all scheduled employee meetings and actively bring suggestions for improvement to the table. You will work in a fast-paced environment where you must be able to communicate effectively with managers and kitchen personnel. We look for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to support the team during both opening and closing shifts.
