About the Role
As a Power BI Developer / Senior Data Analytics professional, you will be the bridge between complex datasets and strategic decision-making. Your mission is to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive the organization forward. You will partner closely with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Sales, and Executive Leadership to design robust dashboards, automate reporting pipelines, and elevate the company's business intelligence capabilities.
In this role, you will not only build reports but also define the long-term BI strategy and tool standardization. You will work directly with stakeholders across the supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering teams to define KPIs and success metrics. From conducting deep-dive analyses to presenting compelling trends to leadership, your work ensures that data accuracy, consistency, and governance are maintained while driving adoption across the company.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and data models
- check_circleBuild efficient semantic models and implement row-level security using DAX
- check_circleConduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations
- check_circleAutomate manual reporting processes using Power BI and Power Automate
- check_circleEnsure data accuracy and compliance through validation and governance standards
- check_circleTroubleshoot and optimize large data models and slow-performing reports
- check_circleLead analytics initiatives from concept to deployment ensuring on-time delivery
- check_circleCreate paginated reports, drill-through views, and automated KPI scorecards
- check_circleDefine long-term BI strategy, tool standardization, and reporting frameworks
- check_circlePresent insights and recommendations to leadership in a clear and compelling manner
- check_circleDevelop SOPs, data dictionaries, and architectural diagrams for cross-team use

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- verified3+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions
- verifiedStrong proficiency with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query
- verifiedExperience with data modeling, relational databases, and SQL query development
- verifiedExperience with KPI creation, forecasting, trend analysis, and performance reporting
Nice to Have
Experience with Azure, SQL Server, Synapse, or Data Lake environments. Experience with Python, R, or other scripting languages for analytics and automation. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Global Shop Solutions (GSS), Epicor Kinetic or similar manufacturing ERPs. Experience with Power Automate and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or operations environments. Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and BI security standards. Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning concepts. Bilingual (English and Spanish).
