The de Lacy lab at the University of Utah is an interdisciplinary research team dedicated to developing a novel psychometric instrument to assess psychological resilience in adults. Led by Nina de Lacy (Dept. of Psychiatry) with co-investigators Brian Baucom and Rob Lubeznik-Warner (Dept. of Psychology), the group integrates clinical, psychological, and quantitative methods. The lab offers a rich mentorship environment for scholars interested in advancing clinical research methods and human subjects protocols.
This one-year Postdoctoral Research Associate position focuses on the implementation of study visits and the statistical analysis of data. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for participants, administering semi-structured interviews and psychometric measures during both in-person and online sessions while ensuring strict adherence to study procedures and human subjects protections. Beyond direct participant interaction, the role involves active collaboration with faculty investigators and staff on measure development, validation, and data interpretation. There are significant opportunities to contribute to manuscript preparation, training materials, and IRB-related activities, with the possibility of renewal based on project needs and performance.
