We are seeking an intellectually curious and motivated Postdoc to study the tumor microenvironment of genitourinary malignancies. Our work leverages the latest in single-cell transcriptomic, spatial, and CRISPR technologies to understand how the tumor microenvironment and intratumoral heterogeneity impact response to treatments in bladder and kidney cancers.
This research holds the potential to identify novel therapeutics and enable personalized approaches for patients resistant to standard-of-care chemo and immunotherapies. The Gessner lab provides salary support and technician assistance for the post-doc's research, with the goal of publishing multiple high-impact papers during the post-doctoral training period.
When submitting your application, please include a cover letter stating why you are interested in this field of research and why you may be a good fit for the Gessner lab.
