JPMorgan Wealth Management (JPWM) is a leader in investment banking, asset management, and financial solutions, serving millions of consumers and prominent institutional clients. Within this legacy of over 200 years, the Portfolio Analysis Group (PAG) serves as a critical value-added source of independent analysis and thought leadership. The team supports internal clients—including portfolio managers, front-office advisors, sales and marketing, and senior management—by expanding performance and portfolio analytics capabilities and building Wealth Management-specific functionality.
As a Portfolio & Performance Analyst - Associate, you will be the subject matter expert for the JPWM Account and Composite Workflow. Your primary mission is to deliver the analytics and reporting that enable strong investment outcomes and clear client communication. You will focus on composite performance reporting, rate-of-return calculations, return attribution, risk analytics, and competitive analysis.
In this role, you will help external clients understand the drivers of portfolio performance while supporting internal stakeholders in measuring the effectiveness of products and strategies. You will also act as a key liaison for front-office Advisors, responding to ad hoc inquiries with detailed investment performance analysis. Beyond daily reporting, you will contribute to strategic projects, including the design and testing of the Connect Wealth platform, and help optimize processes to ensure accurate, timely performance measurement figures.
Candidates selected for an interview will engage in a structured process designed to assess both technical proficiency and cultural fit. The journey typically includes an initial screening to discuss background and role alignment, followed by technical assessments focused on performance measurement methodologies and data analysis. Final rounds involve deeper discussions with team members and leadership to evaluate problem-solving skills and collaboration style. Detailed instructions regarding scheduling and preparation will be provided upon application review.
