This hybrid position reports directly to the Finance Manager and serves as a lead accounting support pillar for the organization. The role is designed to contribute directly to the company's financial health by managing critical accounting functions, including new contract setup, accounts receivable leadership, and system training for the accounting and payroll teams.
You will act as a vital liaison between internal program managers, billing departments, and government contract managers. The day-to-day involves ensuring best practices in invoicing and receivables, preparing audit documentation, and analyzing financial trends using Excel and proprietary financial systems. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can identify processing gaps and foster strong cross-functional relationships to ensure timely payable and receivable processes for joint ventures and sub-contractor partnerships.
