This position is essential to ensuring the correct resin blends are delivered to each manufacturing line. You will utilize poly pumps and blending equipment to support the manufacturing department's daily operations. Your work involves performing housekeeping around resin hook-up trees, blenders, extruders, and die carts, ensuring the production environment remains safe and efficient.
You will be responsible for engaging railcars for pumping, transferring resins, and identifying proper blends using silo reports and JDE numbers. A key part of your day involves inspecting incoming resin for contamination, logging railcar hook-up information, and monitoring inventory conditions to prevent outages. You will also play a vital role in training new team members on material handling and reporting any unsafe conditions immediately to EHS or management.
We expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our values every day. We win when our people are engaged and developing as part of a high-performing team, our customers grow from our quality and innovation, our investors benefit from consistent growth, and the environment is better off because of our leadership. We are committed to making safety our guiding principle and believe that when our people grow, so does our business.
