(AICI-SP) has established itself as one of the leading construction firms within the Department of State's Overseas Building Operations (OBO) program and the Department of Defense (DOD). We continue to win important contracts and projects throughout these programs and others.
We are actively searching for Plumbers to work on an OBO Embassy project in Doha, Qatar. This role is critical to maintaining and expanding our infrastructure capabilities in high-stakes international environments. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining complex plumbing systems, including domestic water, chilled water, sanitary piping, and fire sprinkler systems.
The position demands a high degree of concentration and adaptability. You will work on a busy construction site overseas, often away from family, in countries with laws and social norms that may differ significantly from the United States. The environment can be challenging, featuring extreme weather conditions, potential social unrest, and the need to navigate military action or service interruptions. Flexibility is essential, as the role requires a 60-hour workweek (6 days a week, 10 hours per day) and the ability to perform tasks in high-stress situations.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess an active SECRET clearance, a valid passport, and the ability to obtain appropriate work visas and other required documentation. You must also be willing to adhere to all Government site security requirements to maintain eligibility to work on the project site.
