Technicians in this role serve as the backbone of our community maintenance operations, ensuring that our residential properties, office buildings, and grounds remain safe, functional, and welcoming. Whether specializing in Change of Occupancy Maintenance (COM), resident service requests, or handling a diverse mix of work orders, you will be the first point of contact for residents needing assistance. Your primary mission is to perform general maintenance and repairs across building structures, mechanical systems, electrical grids, plumbing, and sanitary equipment, all while delivering service that results in favorable customer feedback.
This position is dynamic and varied. You will troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, install and connect major appliances, and manage everything from minor electrical fixes to groundskeeping tasks like landscaping and debris removal. The role requires a blend of independent judgment and teamwork, as you will often navigate complex residential maintenance issues, coordinate with supervisors on make-ready repairs, and respond to urgent after-hours emergencies. You will also be responsible for documenting all work orders accurately on mobile devices and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Candidates selected for an interview will undergo a comprehensive assessment to verify technical competency. This includes written, verbal, and hands-on evaluations to ensure basic proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical trades, with a specific focus on HVAC principles such as refrigeration, wiring, and component replacement.
