About the Role
PEG is seeking motivated individuals with a commitment to energy efficiency, sustainability, and building energy performance in new residential construction. This role is designed for those eager to become certified HERS Raters and perform Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET Guidelines.
New employees will receive paid on-the-job training to master visual inspections of materials, data collection, and the utilization of cutting-edge equipment to test system performance. The position involves visiting construction sites to observe the installation of energy-efficient features such as ductwork, insulation, framing, and air sealing. Success in this role requires actively developing professional relationships with builders and code officials through effective communication.
