About the Role
As a Plumber, you will be a vital part of our maintenance team, performing the installation, repair, assembly, and maintenance of plant plumbing systems. Your work will extend to compressed air, chemical, industrial waste fluids, steam systems, and various accessory installations. This is a full-time position working a 4/10 schedule (40 hours per week). You will be responsible for conducting corrective and preventive maintenance, studying building plans to determine work sequences, and executing complex tasks such as cutting, threading, and installing pipes using both hand and power tools. The role requires wearing various types of personal protective equipment, including respirators, safety harnesses, and fire-resistant coveralls, while performing physically demanding tasks that may involve working at heights, climbing stairs, and maintaining balance for extended periods.
