About the Role
As a Plumber, you will be a vital part of our maintenance and construction teams, performing the installation, repair, assembly, and maintenance of plant plumbing systems. This role involves working with compressed air, chemical, industrial waste fluids, steam systems, and various accessory installations.
You will be responsible for conducting corrective maintenance to resolve issues and performing preventive maintenance inspections. Your day-to-day tasks include installing and repairing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, water heaters, and dishwashers, as well as maintaining plumbing infrastructure by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, and clearing clogged drains. You will study building plans and working drawings to determine the sequence of work, locate pipe positions, and cut openings in walls and floors using both hand and power tools. Additionally, you will cut, thread, and assemble pipes made of metals and nonmetals, ensuring systems are pressure-tested for leaks.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week on a 4/10 schedule. Please note that this role does not include per diem or relocation funding.
