PLC Technician

About the Role

As an Industrial Electrician at Ken's Foods, you will be the backbone of our facility's operational continuity. Your primary mission is to install, maintain, and repair the complex electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components that drive our industrial machinery and building infrastructure. You will work in a fast-paced environment where precision and safety are paramount, ensuring that our production lines remain free of contamination and operate at peak efficiency.

In this role, you will not only troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery but also collaborate closely with mechanics, supervisors, and outside contractors to diagnose issues and implement corrective actions. Your day-to-day involves interpreting electrical schematics, managing high and low voltage systems, and maintaining advanced controls such as servo motors and amplifiers. You will also play a critical role in food safety by continuously inspecting work areas for potential contamination and adhering strictly to Ken's Foods' security and GMP policies.

Work Environment

This position requires working in a dynamic industrial setting where safety and alertness are constant priorities. You will frequently encounter moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, and varying environmental conditions, including wet or humid areas, extreme temperatures, and potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles. The role demands physical stamina, as you will often stand, walk, climb, and lift heavy materials, while maintaining a high level of mental focus to respond promptly to operating conditions or emergency alarms.
