About the Team
Prisma Health Children's Hospital, located in Columbia, is South Carolina's first children's hospital, welcoming more than 150,000 children's visits each year. We offer over 30 subspecialties to meet the unique health care needs of children and house central South Carolina's only Children's Emergency Center. The Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery division consists of six plastic surgeons and an integrated residency program practicing in various sub-specialties, including craniofacial, hand, microsurgery, trauma, aesthetic, and general reconstructive surgery.
About the Role
We seek a board-certified or board-eligible Plastic Surgeon with expertise in pediatric and craniofacial care to assume leadership of the Cleft & Craniofacial Care team. In this role, you will lead the multidisciplinary pediatric craniofacial team to treat cleft lip & palate, craniosynostosis, microtia, craniofacial trauma, and other general plastic surgical conditions in children. The position includes an affiliate faculty appointment with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, entailing the teaching of residents and medical students.
