About the Role

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join Orica as a Plant Operator within our Orica Specialty Mining Chemicals (OSMC) team in Winnemucca, NV. In this role, you will support plant operations related to rail and freight loading/unloading, as well as operate basic process equipment. With a strong focus on safety, environmental responsibility, and operational efficiency, you will help convert raw materials into liquid sodium cyanide, ensuring timely and accurate shipments to our customers.

Work Environment

Work is performed in both outdoor and indoor environments with adequate ventilation. The role may involve exposure to fumes or airborne particles such as dust, smoke, or other air contaminants. Moderate noise levels are typical, especially when working near operating equipment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and required for all employees.
