About the Role
This position supports the manufacturing floor during the 2nd shift, running from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM. The role is critical for maintaining operational continuity by ensuring equipment remains functional and safe throughout the production cycle.
Day in the Life
You will work as part of a dedicated team focused on the preventative and predictive maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Your day involves performing mechanical diagnostics, replacing basic component parts, and executing repairs on wire belts, plastic conveyors, and sprocket systems. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to documenting all maintenance activities and maintaining the cleanliness of the maintenance shop.
The environment is active and requires adherence to strict safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures and compliance with company, state, and federal regulations. You will work in a dynamic setting that may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and production line activity.
