Plant Maintenance Tech

About the Role

We are hiring for 1st and 2nd shifts to join our manufacturing team. In this position, you will work closely with a team to ensure equipment remains operational, performing daily preventative and predictive maintenance. Your role is critical in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our production lines.

Day in the Life

You will be responsible for mechanical diagnostics and repairs, including replacing basic component parts and handling wire belt and plastic conveyor repairs. A key part of your day involves recording and documenting all maintenance performed and maintaining the cleanliness of the maintenance shop. You will strictly follow proper lock-out/tag-out procedures and assist in ensuring adherence to all company, state, and federal regulations.

Work Environment

This role requires constant standing and walking throughout the shift. You will work in a dynamic environment with exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines. The facility experiences temperature variations, with exposure to heat (up to 99°F/37°C) and cold (down to 45°F/4°C), as well as damp and wet conditions. You may also encounter live and/or raw animal odors. All required Personal Protection Equipment is provided to ensure your safety.
