PTS Advance is seeking a local Piping Designer for a long-term contract based in Billings, Montana. This role is ideal for a professional with refinery experience who is ready to contribute to critical design and construction projects.
In this position, you will serve as a key contributor to the design lifecycle, creating and revising piping drawings throughout the design and Management of Change (MOC) processes. You will assemble comprehensive piping design packages intended for construction use and provide design assistance across all project phases. The role requires active engagement in tracking and reporting progress for both current and future piping projects, ensuring alignment with project goals.
The work environment involves a hybrid of office and refinery settings. You will be expected to perform field walk-downs and collaborate effectively both individually and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for navigating these diverse environments safely and efficiently.
Candidates must be able to acquire a TWIC card and pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen. A pre-employment training session is required prior to the start date, with specific details provided upon selection.
