About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will join a rewarding career in aviation-based law enforcement. This role exists to detect, prevent, and apprehend terrorists, weapons, and contraband attempting to illegally enter or attack the United States. You will work alongside a skilled team to conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled goods via land, air, and sea. The position involves monitoring suspect behaviors, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. It is an exciting opportunity for seasoned pilots and those with military training to apply their skills in a high-stakes, mission-critical environment.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizen; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Age 40 or younger (or veterans preference eligible); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; FAA Class 2 medical within 12 months; and 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible).
