About the Role
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for seasoned pilots and those with military training who are eager to apply their skills in a dynamic, high-stakes environment. Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit missions to intercept smuggled goods via land, air, or sea. You will monitor suspect behavior, analyze strategic intelligence, and support search and rescue and humanitarian efforts. U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizen; Primary U.S. residency for 3 of last 5 years; Age 40 or under (or eligible for age waiver); FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with specific ratings; 1500 total flight hours (waiver to 1000 possible); and 250 Pilot-in-Command hours.
