About the Practice
Join a busy, full-spectrum general surgery practice in Fargo, North Dakota, offering a diverse mix of cases including laparoscopic, robotic, trauma, breast, vascular, and colorectal procedures. The team is currently growing to include six surgeons, three General Surgery NPs, and one Wound Care NP. The NPs play an integral role, assisting in the operating room, providing post-operative care, and rounding in the hospital.
The facility is a 132-bed tertiary hospital featuring a Level II Trauma Center with a single location for both clinic and hospital services. The hospital has earned a 5-star CMS rating for Quality. The practice is planning a transition to an acute care surgery service for day call, with a possible two-week ACS coverage model, creating an opportunity for dedicated critical care time. There is also a pathway for the successful candidate to become the Trauma Medical Director.
