The Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Medicine is actively recruiting to join an academic practice that provides care at the main and south campuses.
We are seeking an outstanding, experienced clinician to join our growing team of Clinical Faculty. The physician hired will hold a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona consistent with their credentials. This role is designed to provide comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, treating patients with complex multisystem rheumatic diseases. The position includes a significant academic component, involving the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as the pursuit of scholarly projects.
The day-to-day responsibilities include working in an outpatient clinic with opportunities to provide care to offsite Indian Health Services and rotating on the inpatient consult service. The role offers a balanced schedule of 1.0 FTE, featuring an average patient volume of 8-10 patients per 4-hour session, up to eight sessions per week, with two administrative half days.
