About the Team
Essentia Health-Fargo is seeking a Pathologist to join a collaborative team of four pathologists, including colleagues fellowship-trained in hematopathology and dermatopathology, alongside two dedicated pathology assistants. The group operates with a supportive staff and laboratory operations team, utilizing Epic and Epic Beaker systems. The practice is expanding its referral network and offers opportunities for outreach and laboratory medical directorships. Notably, the team performs no autopsies, and gross dissections including frozen sections are handled by the pathology assistants.
About the Role
This position is open to both general pathologists and those with fellowship training, with all subspecialties considered. While experience and fellowship training are desired, they are not required. The role emphasizes strong clinical pathology skills and involves shared on-call coverage divided equally among the pathologists. You will be part of a dynamic environment serving a regional service area that includes 25 clinics and 6 hospitals.
